- Who are you, who who, who who? A bit about you.....
- By Christmas I hope to have a demo cut to send out to record labels. If you know of someone who writes music for the teen scene, please send them my way! I would love some original pieces! My dream is to one day be on the Disney Channel as a singer/actress! You can listen to a computer recording of me singing on the lower left side of this screen.
I started out at age 3 with Sylvia's Model Agency in Valdosta, Georgia where at the national competition I was the overall child winner in commercial, song and runway. My latest modeling adventure was this summer making a commercial for Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Georgia. From an early age, I knew the stage was my favorite place to be! Five years ago I joined Tippy Toes Pro Dance. Being on the competitive dance teams has taught me not only how to perform on stage but how to own the stage. Learning Jazz and Hip Hop from Steven “Twitch” Boss (So You Think You Can Dance) along with learning Hip Hop and Modern from John Gillette (Denver Nuggets Choreographer) has been great experiences! Whether it is Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, Tap or Ballet, I can dance it either group setting or solo!
Coastal Cheer All-Star Cheerleading has been another adventure for me to make some really great friends. I have my round off back handspring 2 and working my tuck. Being a flyer doing one leg, full extension full downs, heel stretches, scorpions, and basket tosses keeps me flexible and in shape! Between cheer and dance I average 12 hours a week in the gym!
Having a love for the stage, I entered the Talent Rock contest in Orlando, Florida 2 years ago. Among 500+ kids I was lucky enough to be in the Top Five to perform at the finals! That was an awesome adventure! To pursue my singing, I found a wonderful mentor, teacher, and most of all a great friend, Shaun Williamson (Flashback Tour, Atlanta Rhythm Section, King Karma)! Being able to work with him before he went on tour was such a valuable experience!
Currently I am in the 8th Grade, all honor classes, with all A’s! I am still modeling, doing 2 competitive dance teams, one competitive cheer team and working hard to get my music ready to cut my demo! In my spare time my friend and I have a web show called “The Kayla and Kyndalle Show”. We decided to do it to share our experiences!
