- Who are you, who who, who who? A bit about you.....
- Take an acclaimed debut album with worldwide sales from USA to Hong Kong, add radio play on BBC6, Xfm, BBC Radio 2 and numerous other stations, throw in an ‘explosive’ LIVE show and add some heavyweight fans including Bruce Dickinson (BBC6, Iron Maiden), Kenney Jones (The Who, Small Faces) and Steve Lamacq (Radio 1, 6 Music). And you have the growing success that is Helium Soul.
With their edgy, retro yet contemporary mix of rock and nu-blues, Russ (Guitar & Vocals), Ad (Bass) and Sam (Drums), create a chemistry that has produced many great LIVE shows and with swagger. All the band members have experience that belies their years; in particular, Russ has toured Festivals and Venues around Europe. His personal highlight was playing support for Blues Legend BB King at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
As well as radio airplay for their tracks, Helium Soul have performed several live sessions too. Recognition of the band’s original, honest and intuitive music continues to grow and with the follow up to “Mass of Four”, their 1st album, the new material introduces a fearless quality to their uniquely huge sound.
